My boyfriend and I went to cold stone tonight as its close and said to be a top notch place, instead of driving the extra 15 minutes to farrs ice cream.
They didnt have my favorite cherry chocolate chip so I decided to try a new one and go with the one smart brookie; I tell you I may as well have gotten chocolate chip cookie dough because there was absolutely no brownie whatsoever! Not what I ordered at all.
The cookie dough was clumpy, and I regret not going with a caramel apple instead of their ice cream / not driving that extra time.
My guy got cheesecake and what about it makes cheesecake when its only pie crust and fruit?? The fruit was good but coulda gotten some fresh fruit at the Walmart across the street rather than something neither one of us could finish.

Serving ice cream w/ a bandaided finger with no gloves!!!!!
Just realized after checking cold stone creamery policy that they’re NOT required to wear gloves. They claim that they use paddles to get d ice cream.
We all know at some point in time during “that paddling” back of d hands, finer or whatever can touch ur skin! And this one employee was even doing that with her whole pointer finger ON BANDAID!!! THAT’S A NO-NO !!! I asked one of d employees abt it & said that IF they’re touching food directly, they have to wear gloves, yet when she got me d cone in a cup, her finger was DIRECTLY holding d cone & not d cup !!!
How hard is it for d company to provide gloves & make them wear one? Chipotle is NOT directly touching their food as well; they use scoops for d rice & meats. What’s d difference? NOT A FAN OF COLD STONE CREAMERY !!!
I WILL NEVER GO BACK !!! Their ice cream’s very very sweet for me anyway, only my kids want them!

Refunds Issued
Both orders were refunded. Two different managers at the two different stores finally did recognize that the orders were placed through the Cold Stone Creamery app (and not through Door Dash) even though Door Dash was used the delivery. The managers were very pleasant and got back to me the next day.

Taste and fill topping not as much as before.
I bought cold stone at AEON BSD and on my surprise my ice cream not full as before, so I ask them to weight again, and its true they reducing my ice cream in my cup supposed to 250gr but they only give me 205gr. Ussualy they give free filling but now I have to pay extra for the topping. Lucky the boy kind enough to refill my cup.

Zero for two in one week
I went to two cold stones in The last two week and walked out of both - was planning on spending $35 on everybody size first store had no bananas, second one had no pecans - both items thr can be bought at the grocery store next door . No apology , no attempt to retain my business and complete apathy. Walked out and will never return- I anticipate store closures in the near future because customer satisfaction is clearly not a part of the mission statement .

Found a foreign object in a shake I ordered.
I've came into this cold stone store located at:
13600 Baltimore Ave Ste 304, Laurel, MD 2070%. ordered a love it cake batter and cheesecake shake at approximately 3:40pm on 4/11/2024.
I left the store and about 25-30 minutes later, l've found a black foreign circular item in my drink.
I'm feeling very nauseous and coming up with a slight fever behind the incident (at the time of writing this complaint). I do have pictures of it as well.

Call a nasty slur
I am an elderly disabled hard of hearing person. I called the store at 12:00 to inquire if they had a certain item in stock before I made an online order so I didnt waste my time.
The person who answered the phone would not speak above a whisper. After asking several times for him to please speak up I asked for a manger. He said no, I then asked to be transferred to a different employee, he then hung up on me. I called back and asked his name, I think he said Amir.
When I asked him to speak louder he hung up on me AGAIN!!! tried calling back several times and went straight to voice mail. I found out my number was blocked because I used a different phone and got right through. When I got through I immediately asked for a manager.
After hesitantly giving me what they said was a manager I very politely asked for HER NAME. She asked what the problem was as I wanted to tell her about my earlier experience. I again just said may I please know who am I speaking to, she then again said whats the problem, I once more asked for her name, her next response was WHAT ARE YOU RETARDED and proceeded to HANG UP ON ME AND QUICKLY BLOCK MY HUSBANDS NUMBER AS WELL. When I called the complaint line they of course would not give me the name of the owner or the general manager.
Never being told the name of the so called manager I cant properly report HER and it will be easy for her to deny the allegations unless the call was recorded. If I knew I WAS GOING TO BE CALLED RETARDED I WOULD HAVE RECORDED THE CALL MY SELF. So here we have the Cold stone in Kentlands MD who has employees who refuse to help s someone who is hard of hearing and a manager who was on duty on June 21 at 1:00 who refuses to give her name, CALLS A CUSTOMER RETARDED, HANGS UP ON CUSTOMER AND THEN BLOCKS PHONE NUMBERS. I WANT ALL OF GAITHERSBURG TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF EMPLOYEES WORK HERE AND HOW THIS BUSINESS TREATS CUSTOMERS.
A BUSINESS THAT CALLS PEOPLE RETARDED.I AM SHAKING AND CRYING TO BE CALLED SUCH A FOUL DISGUSTING SLUR. I SERIOUSLY CANNOT BELIEVE IT.

Some random lady named Lesley called me on Tuesday, saying she was the manager's wife. She said her husband was on vacation in Mexico, and she was returning my call.

An awful experience!
I went to cold stone on 5/29/2024 . There s a gentleman name Cory I believe was his name he was so rude .
Was locking the doors at 8:34 because customers keep coming in . He was stacking the table up dirty he never wipe them down before stacking and slamming them. I watch him scratch his head and continue making cones. He had a terrible attitude.
I didnt write soon cause I went away for few days . I have been a customer for a long time there never seen anyone act like this .
If he doesnt want work with the people he need to fine an other job . I did not enjoy my ice cream or even being there .

False advertising!
You advertise for rewards but yet do not honor them , I have four receipts that I cannot scan because the system has been down and the store says they cannot honor the 5.00 discount. False advertising!

Light vanilla was super gritty
Ordered the lite vanilla. It was gritty, like eating sand. The kids were happy with their ice cream.
